Most people think all of the New Years celebration happens on New Years Eve. If you have a family, that is not entirely true.

We do not mean set up the camcorder and video tape the family sitting in the living room. Actually make a movie. Write a short little script, assign everyone a part, and then put on the movie. Getting your children involved, and in an activity such as this can help boost their self-esteem and make them more comfortable speaking in front of other people.
On top of the actual developmental benefits the kids can gain from it, making a movie production will help you and your children grow closer as a family. Be silly, be creative, and be funny. Now you will have a real home movie that every one of you will remember forever.
Go for a Bike Ride
Actually, it does not need to be bike ride it could be anything. Just get out of the house and do something active together. Kids love to play. Everyone is home together, if you have snow get out and have a snowball fight, or go sledding. Have fun with your family.
